The doctors have told us the MRD results of last week's Bone Marrow Aspirate (day 60), and it has come back negative. This means that the MRD machine was unable to detect any leukaemia cells. This is the great news that we all have been praying for.
He will have more Bone Marrow Aspirates on a regular basis to check that the leukaemia does not come back, but at the moment he is in remission.
Thank you to all who have been praying for Jeremy for this miracle.

Dear Ken & Eleanor,
We rejoice and give thanks to God with you for the wonderful news that Jeremy is now in remission. We praise God for answering the prayers of so many friends and relatives and people whom you don’t even know. It must be such a great relief for you to know that the Bone Marrow Transplant was successful.
Remember the day in June, some ministers and elders came to pray for Jeremy and at the next test, his blast cell count went down from about 70% to 5% so that they could go ahead with the BMT?
We sang: Be still and know that I am God
I am the Lord that health thee
In Thee O Lord do I put my trust.
Our Almighty loving God is the one who heals and we have been encouraged as we saw the way that you have trusted Him and been upheld through this extremely difficult time.
Today when I went to Bible Study Fellowship, I went to tell Jill, the children’s supervisor who I know has been praying for Jeremy. She was so thrilled and thankful to God as she has been praying for him but her computer was on the blink and they haven’t received the latest blogs.
As I walked up the church driveway I saw Thelma who I know was another lady who was very interested in Jeremy’s progressed and prayed for him and also in her ladies’ prayer group. She came up to me beaming and said “Isn’t that great news about Jeremy?” She had already read it on your blog. She told me that she phoned all the other ladies in her prayer group the good news.
After the BSF class, Fan said to me: “I was so happy to see the wonderful news from Jeremy.”
What a blessing to witness people’s care and their joy and thankfulness when they see God answering their prayers!
This afternoon I went to see Tai Kon (Jeremy’s 89 year old great-grandfather). After I told him the good news about Jeremy He said to me in Chinese. “Now I can have peace in my heart about him.” He wants to see Jeremy when he comes home from hospital later on.
I have been telling everyone who I knew was praying for Jeremy but some people told me they already received the email from the blog and so knew the wonderful news.
We shall continue to pray for you that Jeremy will regain his appetite and have the best medical care so he can resume normal life at home again.
Lots of love,
Aunty Jeannette & Uncle Jim
